Hello Queen City! I may be a product of New York but I am truly excited to call Charlotte home. My wife and my pup Bruno can’t wait to meet you and share in a laugh or smile at one of the many attractions Charlotte and the surrounding areas have to offer.

A little about myself and my experience…

My love for weather first took root at the age of five when the 1993 “Storm of the Century” brought mounds of snow to my parents’ front door. I vividly remember being thrown across my front yard by the storms powerful winds while helping my dad shovel the driveway.

That experience would eventually push me to study Broadcast Meteorology at The State University of New York at Albany. That accompanied by a minor in Geography and a G.I.S. Certificate would give me the tools to pursue my passion for weather and connecting with and helping others.

After graduating, I first worked for a law firm in New York, acting as a weather consultant for weather-involved cases. This included gathering data from the National Climatic Data Center and drafting memorandums for the layers to use in their arguments.

You couldn’t keep me from the cameras for too long, though, as I soon started my on-air career with WNEM-TV5 in Saginaw, MI. Thankfully I survived the cold winter weather and eventually made my way to the Carolinas. I spent the next 7 years with FOX Carolina in Greenville, SC. First as the weekend Meteorologist, then as the Morning Anchor.

During my time there, in addition to severe weather, I covered much of the tropical systems to impact the Carolina Coast including hurricane Matthew and Florence. My reports from the field helped residents and viewers stay safe throughout the life and impact of each storm. I also joined the National Weather Association and received my NWA Television/Radio Seal of Approval in December of 2016.

When I’m not working up a sweat in the gym, hosting my podcast, or hitting the town with my wife and pup, you can find me bright and early each morning helping to get your days started and staying safe and prepared for whatever Mother Nature has in store for the Queen City!
