Will Kunkel is entering his 4th year at Queen City News. Will helped launch QCN’s nightly sports show, Charlotte Sports Live, and is the co-anchor of the Panthers pre and post-game shows Black and Blue Kickoff Live, which airs regionally on all Nexstar stations, and the station’s weekly NASCAR show Around the Track.
Will has emceed and spoken at several prominent sporting events including the Johnny Bench Award. Will created and launched his own podcast, A Relatable Journey, where he talks to public figures, primarily athletes, about their journey with God.
Will grew up in New Canaan, CT, and studied at St. Lawrence University before earning his Masters at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern.
Will got married in June of 2021 to his now wife Hanna. You wouldn’t expect it, since he’s a ‘sports guy’ but he loves Broadway.
