Will Lewis joined the team in April of 2021 after several years as an anchor/reporter in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. During that time, he’s covered everything from issues in Washington D.C. to natural disasters in the northeast. He also created and started a bi-weekly series, Signature Dish, where he spoke with popular restaurant owners about their motivation to open a restaurant and the top dishes they serve.
Will has received numerous nominations, and awards for his reporting. Recently he won a Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasting award for a story about a student letter campaign to help a classmate. It’s the second time back in the Queen City for Will, and he’s looking forward to learning and reporting on all the changes and continued growth in Charlotte.
Originally from Seattle, Will left the Pacific Northwest to attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He’s also worked in Louisiana, Tennessee, Maine, and Washington states. Will has also driven through, visited, or worked in all 50 states.
In his free time, you can find Will on the numerous walking/running trails, trying to keep the golf ball in the fairway, volunteering for nonprofits, and trying out the numerous local restaurants in the area.
