CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — One person has been arrested following a homicide in east Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
The shooting happened around 1:30 Sunday afternoon in the 3300 block of Magnolia Hill Drive.
Officers say they were originally called to an assault with a deadly weapon and arrived to find the victim, 54-year-old Cornelius O. Bolden shot. Medic pronounced the Bolden dead while at the scene.
As a result of the investigation, CMPD arrested 20-year-old Marcus Leon Hook with murder in connection to this case.
