CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A flight from Charlotte to New York got a little dicey for one flight-skittish passenger, but a flight attendant came in and helped put that passenger’s mind at ease.

Molly Simonson Lee said she was on a flight earlier this month with family when she noticed what was happening a few rows in front of her.

The flight attendant, identified as Floyd Dean-Shannon, literally sat down in the aisle next to the woman putting her mind at ease.

“She boarded a little after I did, and she made it clear to everyone around her that, ‘I don’t fly, I haven’t flown for a really long time, and I’m super nervous about this,’” said Lee. “Floyd overheard and said, ‘that’s okay, I got you.’”

She says the flight attendant did not spend his entire time in the aisle but was not too far away from the passenger, explaining what was going on with the flight, and by the end, the passenger’s nervousness was gone.

“That the flight attendant deserves a raise for his actions,” Lee said in their social media post.
