CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A person was found dead with ‘traumatic injuries’ near uptown Friday evening, according to CMPD.
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. on the 700 block of West Ninth Street near North Graham.
Police say they responded to a person-down call for service; upon arrival, officers reportedly discovered a victim suffering damaging injuries.
Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased on the scene and police have ruled the death a homicide.
