CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – The victim killed in Monday’s shooting in Huntersville has been identified and a murder suspect has been arrested, according to the police department.
The deadly incident was reported around 4:30 p.m. on Holly Crest Lane near Statesville Road.
Police said they responded to shots fired at Holly Crest Apartments, and when they arrived, they found a middle-aged man, later identified as Michael Feldman, 61, of Huntersville, suffering from gunshot wounds in the apartment hallway.
Paramedics said they pronounced Feldman dead at the scene.
An initial investigation identified Randy Gonzales-Mugaburu, 30, of Huntersville, as the suspect. He has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder.

Detectives are working the complete their investigation and said there’s no threat to the public.
