CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) — Two school buses crashed Tuesday afternoon on Ballantyne Commons Parkway.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police tell FOX 46 that officers responded just after 3:30 p.m. to the 6200 block of Ballantyne Commons Parkway in reference to a collision involving two school buses. There were students on the buses at the time.

According to Medic, eight people had non-life-threatening injuries and refused transport to an area hospital. Additional details about how the crash occurred was not immediately provided to FOX 46.
