Meet the 10-year-old ‘police officer’ getting results for his community

ROCK HILL, SC (FOX 46 WJZY) — FOX 46 Charlotte introduces you to quite possibly the next Chief of Police in Rock Hill, SC.

Only 10-years-old, Tavis Barnette only wants to help people in his neighborhood. He regularly visits the officers at the Rock Hill Police Department afterschool, as he hopes to become a police officer one day.

Members of the Rock Hill Police Department have taken Tavis under their wings, showing him the ropes and allowing him to participate in their daily tasks. 

Tavis is helping get results for his community with the Rock Hill PD officers at his side. Keep it up Tavis!
