(FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) — It’s a battle of the chicken sandwiches.
This month, Popeyes rolled out their new chicken sandwich, and it sparked some Twitter beef with the makers of the”original” southern chicken sandwich– Chick-fil-A.
Chick-fil-A tweeted on Monday, only saying “Bun + Chicken + Pickles = all the â¤ï¸ for the original.”

Some Twitter users called attention to the fact that it seemed somewhat similar to Popeyes Aug. 12 tweet, which started off with “Chicken. Brioche. Pickles.”

Was Chick-fil-A in distress, sending out a reminder that they too have a delicious chicken sandwich? Well, Twitter seemed to think so.
