Golden retriever mix ‘Delilah’ has been reunited with loved ones after spending 62 days outside in the cold, snowy mountains in Blowing Rock, family tells FOX 46 Charlotte.

The 11-month-old puppy was hiking with family and two other dogs on Jan. 2, 2019 when she got spooked and ran off into the woods.

“Since that day, an amazing collection of animal loving volunteers searched, spotted and set traps for the fur baby in hopes of reuniting Delilah for her family,” LeeAnne Savage wrote on social media.

After two months in the North Carolina wilderness, Delilah was successfully trapped.

“The three women who worked tirelessly 24/7 to bring Delilah home safely gave their time, energy, efforts, so selflessly…all to reunite a beloved furry family member with her humans,” Savage wrote.
