MEDIC leaders are taking a county-wide tour, telling Mecklenburg city leaders about its upcoming plans. Those plans involve fewer lights and less sirens after stats show more accidents occur with these road warnings.

In the video, officers knock on the door of the Pelosis’ home. A few moments later, the door opens to show suspect David DePape holding a hammer next to Paul Pelosi. The two men tangle for the weapon before DePape attacks Pelosi and the two fall to the ground and officers intervene.

Pelosi, apparently unconscious, can be seen lying face down on the floor in his pajama top and underwear. Officials later said he woke up in a pool of his own blood.
